Pound for a hound - please support! This is a site ran by Lousie Mallett. It consists of a photo collage to raise money for Greyhound Gap (who rescues all types of sighthounds and rehomes them all over the country). At the moment the charity uses commercial kennels at a cost of £2000 - £2500 per month, and we're trying to raise money for our own kennels which will be cheaper and give the hounds better care. Very briefly, the idea is that folk go on to www.poundforahound.co.uk and pay £1 to include a photo of something they care about - the finished collage will be printed and hung in our new kennels when we reach our target of £100,000 . So far we have 414 images uploaded, and even have celebrity supporters such as Jilly Cooper, Joanna Lumley and Griff Rhys Jones!
